We also offer Emotional Healing using Baldur-Healing Introduction to Reiki: The word Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is Japanese: Rei meaning universally or spiritually guided. and ki meaning Life Force Energy. The art or therapeutic practice of Reiki provides us with a very effective way of channelling this energy to promote healing on a physical, mental and emotional level. Reiki is not a form of religion all though it can seem quite spiritual. The expression of life force energy in the form of Reiki was developed towards the end of the 19th Century by Dr. Mikao Usui who undertook a search for the secret of healing which lasted fourteen years. His findings is a guarded secret past on to each new second degree and more so each new master. I'm proud to be the twelfth link in this chain of initiated Usui Reiki Masters. I have furthermore been attuned to the Celtic Reiki which draw the energy from a different direction, this has further been enhanced by attunement to several other Reiki forms. Reiki is an energy drawn through the healer and channelled into the recipiant. During a session the client sit or prefarably lay down healing take place without any real bodily contact, a distance is kept from all parts of the body. The Reiki Practitioner will usually only touch you at the back of your head and the soles of your feet, some also lay hands on your knees, but usually their hands are kept at a distance from the rest of your body. Reiki is complimented wery well by hypnosis and the wellbeing felt from this experience is tremendeous. One hour of self indulgence and the bonus of the healing to go with this.
